Why I only post political content on my blog 🎤 👤

I do not post anything political onto social media and have been known to delete political comments or even whole posts when discussions become political. But not the blog.

Why not? Because I have complete control of the blog, where content appears, how it is framed. I can freely adjust and revise posts later on. I have complete control over comments, all comments on the blog are moderated before approval unless I have previously cleared the user to post on the blog. Comments also don’t appear on the homepage, only individual subpages. Very different from social media.

And … I just don’t like how angry and mean spirited a lot of social media is these days.
