September 6, 2016 8 AM Update

Good morning! Happy Tuesday on this day that feels like the worse kind of Monday after a long holiday weekend. Mostly cloudy and 62 degrees in Delmar, NY. There is a north breeze at 6 mph. The dew point is 59 degrees. Today and most of week will be quite humid.

Today will become mostly sunny, with a high of 82 degrees at 4pm. Six degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 64 at 4pm. Northeast wind 6 to 8 mph. The record high of 91 was set in 1983. The sun will set at 7:19 pm with dusk around 7:48 pm, which is 1 minutes and 45 seconds earlier than yesterday. Today will have 12 hours and 52 minutes of daylight, a decrease of 2 minutes and 49 seconds over yesterday. Unfortunately the mercury doesn’t define the length of day.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 65 degrees at 5am.Β A very warm night, especially for early September. 10 degrees above normal. Humidity will be fairly modest, so it will easier sleeping then in July. Maximum dew point of 64 at 6pm. North wind 3 to 6 mph. The record low of 36 occurred back in 1962.

Tomorrow I have to go my insurance agent,Β and give her my certificate from my driving safety class I took in February. While it’s a long time ago now, I still will get a discount. I also want to increase my insurance levels, both on the liability side of things and to make sure my truck has adequate coverage with the various upgrades. Hopefully all in all, it won’t increase my insurance bill too much.

I’m also continuing to pack and get ready for my work tripΒ over the next few months. Heading out to Central New York, and I hope to get a lot of good videos and pictures from road trips and other places I explore during that time.
