As we progress through the final five days of summer, it looks like we fell a few degrees below the predicted 85 degrees. Regardless, not a half bad day for September 17th. Sunset tonight is at 7:02 PM, the last sunset after seven until March 13, 2016 — the first Sunday after daylight savings returns next year. Prior to 10 PM look for a Waining Cresent Moon. Low around 56 degrees.

Traffic is sluggish but moving in the passing lane on 787 but delays as you head towards 9W. I can’t wait until the construction finally ends. It always so annoying but then again so is rush hour. 9W traffic is a real drag today.

This afternoon I am getting packed for Lewis County. I will leave in the morning for a trip to the Otter Creek-area. Hopefully the colors will be nice up north. I haven’t been up in that portion of the state since 2013. Should be a nice trip – warm for the first half of the week and cooler on the second half.
