I keep seeing advertisements for self-encrypting hard drives. 💾 And I have to think what an awful idea. 🤔 I mean what happens if you loose your password? Or the software stops works properly. You loose all your files. I think if I have a hard drive to destroy, I’ll do it the old fashion way with a shotgun, 🔫 and then burn it in a fire. 🔥
