October and already the leaves are fading away in the Adirondacks. πŸ‚ Most shocking to me is that we are less then a month away from November, which in many ways should be a sigh of relief with the craziness of work and with the deep blue skies and crisp days of that month.

Austin Falls

Austin Falls while fairly dry this time of year, was still a pretty good sluice of water, even if the drop through these falls is hardly enormous. Access is via Old Route 8B in Spectulator, drive the old asphalt and concrete road, that is rather bumpy as the ground has settled over the years.
