October 8, 2020 Morning

Good morning! Happy Dark Thursday. 😊 No power still this morning. πŸ”Œ Next Thursday is Average High is 60 πŸ‚. Mostly sunny and 43 degrees in the land of the Delmartian. There is a west-northwest breeze at 15 mph. πŸƒ with gusts up to 25 mph πŸ’¨πŸ’¨πŸ’¨.

I still can’t believe there is no power in Delmar. πŸ”Œ There are a few branches down but not a lot. The traffic lights πŸš₯ are working mainly because they’re on portable generators. Nice morning though. πŸŒ…

I ended up eating breakfast out back. β˜• Fresh coffee on a cold but sunny morning is always a good thing. 🍳 Camp stove works fine without electricity.

Out for my morning walk 🚢🏻. I thought they had power back on in Delaware but it’s just a generator. ⚑

Today will be sunny 🌞, with a high of 59 degrees at 4pm. Four degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical day around October 17th. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. A year ago, we had mostly sunny skies in the morning, remaining cloudy in the afternoon. The high last year was 65 degrees. I guess if you are going to loose power this is the weather to be in the dark. πŸŒƒ Nights are long but you don’t need heat ♨ but it’s cool enough that my refrigerator packed full of ice should be good for a few days.
