March 2, 2019 Night

Good evening! Clouds and 30 degrees in Delmar. ☁ There is a west breeze at 5 mph. πŸƒ. No snow today, not are there much for stars this evening when I went for my walk. There are 2 inches of snow on the ground. β˜ƒ ️Things will start to thaw out at tomorrow around 10 am. 🌑️

This morning I met my parents at Jakes Moon for breakfast 🍳 then came home and rode the excerise bike for a few while, then went to Walmart to buy groceries and out to my parents house for dinner. πŸ˜‹ I fixed the loose chain πŸ”— on the excerise bike 🚲 so now it doesn’t keep coming loose and rides much better than before. Worked on some blog posts πŸ’and then went for my evening walk 🚢.

Ever since I did the hard reset on my phone and reinstalled the software it’s been working great. πŸ“±Much faster now πŸ‘with many software updates, and I’m very impressed with the performance. I bought a new battery πŸ”‹ for the phone as the current one isn’t holding charge for a long time πŸ”Œ and I want to get more life out of this phone if possible.

Thinking πŸ’ about going for a walk on the rail trail in the morning πŸš†then over take the bus 🚍 over to John Wolcott’s house in the afternoon to continue working on his history project. πŸ“šA year ago, we had light snow. The high last year was 42 degrees. I’m really not sure how big this snow storm will be. I’ve parked on the grass so it will probably turn out to be nothing. Today in 1989, Twelve European Community nations agree to ban the production of all chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) by the end of the century.πŸ‘ I think you can say that they were mostly successful on this although occasionally you hear about CFC releases into the atmosphere from the new sources, the hole in the ozone is healing itself. 🌎

I do get annoyed when people get all political on Facebook. πŸ‘‘I know that the temptation is to respond back but the smarter option is just to hide the post from those people πŸ‘Œbut that’s sometimes harder than you would think. The nice thing about the blog is I have complete control over the content and commenting is limited to only certain sections of the blog. πŸ“„ For years I didn’t allow any comments on the blog at all. πŸ’I do allow some now though. Blog posts are a better format for sharing ideas even if it means fewer eye πŸ‘€ balls.

In four weeks on March 30 the sun will be setting at 7:19 pm (Daylight Savings Time),πŸŒ„ which is one hour, 32 minutes and 48 seconds later then tonight. In 2018 on that day, we had partly sunny, mist and temperatures between 50 and 37 degrees. Typically, you have temperatures between 51 and 31 degrees. Looking ahead, Arbor Day 🌳 is in 8 weeks, 8 PM Sunset πŸŒ‡ is in 9 weeks, June 🍹 is in 13 weeks, Average High is 80 πŸ– is in 16 weeks, Hottest Time of the Year πŸ˜… is in 19 weeks and Average High Falls To 79 ️Degrees ⛱️️️ is in 25 weeks.
