Good afternoon Andy, Got this AI answer when asking the question if there is primitive camping on Balfour Lake? Yes, Balfour Lake in the Adirondacks does have two primitive campsites accessible by a short paddle. These campsites are typically marked with yellow β€œCamp Here” discs. Do you happen to know if the 2 primitive sites mentioned, are in the south west end of the lake, perhaps near the small bay or cove on the west side?

Not sure. I’ve been by there, and i know the DEC put a new sign and built a parking and a trail down to the lake but I’ve never put in there.
