Good evening! Currently partly cloudy and 80 degrees in Albany. There is a west-northwest breeze at 9 mph. Pretty nice weather. Very comfortable dew point at 50.

Today was a Monday but I survived okay. I’m lately gotten a little burnt out from work, as everyday I feel like I’m a short order cook, trying to keep up with things. Definitely looking forward to the weekend. I guess I need to make sure I get plenty of sleep tonight.

Partly cloudy and warm for tonight. We will have a slight chance of showers after 2am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 60. West wind 5 to 8 mph becoming light and variable. Chance of precipitation is 20%. The normal low for tonight is 54, so it will be about six degrees above normal. The record low of 37 occured back in 1958.

Tonight the sun will set at 8:30 pm with dusk around 9:05 pm, which is 39 seconds later than yesterday. Tonight we have a Waxing Crescent Moon with 10% illuminated. The moon will set around 10:47 pm. June’s Strawberry Moon is on Monday, June 20th.

Chance of showers then chance of t-storms but otherwise seasonable for Tuesday. We will have a chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Some of the storms could produce small hail and gusty winds. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. Southwest wind 7 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. The normal high for Tuesday is 76, so it will be about normal for this time of year. The record high of 95 happened back in 1999.

We need to watch the weekend forecast, but right now I’m not expecting a wash out. Saturday, partly sunny, with a high near 72. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Sunday, partly sunny, with a high near 73. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Generally, a cool weekend. Typical average high for the weekend is 77 degrees.

In four weeks on July 4 the sun will be setting at 8:35 pm, which is 5 minutes later then today. The average high is 82 degrees, and the record for that date is 104 degrees was set back in 1911.
