June 3, 2020 Morning

Good morning! What day is it? It’s a dusty delta day, of course. So Bobby Gentrie made famous with the Ode to Billie Joe. Good day for throwing flowers 🌸 off bridges. Three weeks to Latest Sunset πŸŒ†. Cloudy and 61 degrees in Delmar, NY. ☁ There is a south breeze at 9 mph. πŸƒ. The dew point is 56 degrees. The skies will clear around 4 pm.

Nice morning, heading out for my morning walk in a bit. 🚢 Pancakes and coffee β˜• for breakfast then it’s down to work, a busy day ahead. Busy enough I actually ended up doing some work last evening before bed. That’s why I ended up skipping on the blog post for the night.

After work or in the off chance I have downtime today I’ll start packing for camping β›Ί. I am probably going to go up to the Adirondacks for 4-5 days, although it’s a bit uncertain based on the weather. More remote work this week although with the Capital Region in Phase 2 I tend to think my office 🏒 will be reopening soon. I haven’t heard anything from CDTA when the bus service will resume but I expect it’s coming back relatively soon. I will probably camp at the campsite where I have the good cell phone reception πŸ“Ά and lots of sun for solar. This time I’m not bringing the kayak just because working up there I need the solar in the day time and it’s kind of pain to take on and off repeatedly.

Today will have a chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1pm. Mostly cloudy 🌦, with a high of 77 degrees at 3pm. Two degrees above normal, which is similar to a typical day around June 10th. Maximum dew point of 63 at 12pm. South wind 9 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50%. The golden hour πŸ… starts at 7:47 pm with the sun in the west-northwest (295Β°). πŸ“Έ The sunset is in the west-northwest (302Β°) with the sun dropping below the horizon at 8:29 pm after setting for 3 minutes and 25 seconds with dusk around 9:02 pm, which is 44 seconds later than yesterday. πŸŒ‡ At dusk you’ll see the Full 🌝 Moon in the southeast (142Β°) at an altitude of 24Β° from the horizon, 228,490 miles away. πŸš€ The best time to look at the stars is after 9:47 pm. At sunset, look for partly clear skies πŸŒ„ and temperatures around 73 degrees. The dew point will be 60 degrees. There will be a west breeze at 14 mph. Today will have 15 hours and 9 minutes of daytime, an increase of one minute and 8 seconds over yesterday.
