Noisy this morning with them mowing the grass 🌾 down the way. The noise pollution was something I did not miss when I was up in the Adirondacks. Maybe and two weeks I’ll go back up to the Adirondacks or somewhere else to travel. It looks like if I want to go to Central NY again most of the camping area out that way are open again. ⛺

I might also want to do some more research. I am probably going to take it to Watkins Spring, but that’s a pain with the buses not running the full schedule and me not working downtown.

On this day in 2006, in Hamdan v. Rumsfeld the U.S. Supreme Court rules that President George W. Bush’s plan to try Guantanamo Bay detainees in military tribunals violates U.S. and international law. I do remember that day pretty well, it was something we discussed in college and I was involved in protesting back in Albany. Fortunately, the days of George W. Bush are long gone, although we can remember the good ol’ days before Trump.

I am going to probably stay in town this weekend, although who knows I might tent camp at one of the local state forests. I think I probably will have Friday off as a holiday, but it’s not in the system yet. I am going to see how well Big Red is working, and I might change my mind based on how things go and what the final forest looks like.
