July 28, 2015 morning
As we head into the 10 o’clock hour, it is 73 degrees in Hector. Looking for 87 degrees later with plenty of humidity. The lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer continue.
Wednesday looks to be the hottest day of the week with temperatures looking to head upwards of 90 as the summer heat wave continues. Thursday will be more unsettled with thunderstorms likely. Friday and Saturday both look warm and sunny.
This morning heading down to Robert Treman State Park for a brief gorge hike and maybe over to Lucifer Falls. Then it’s down to swimming in the most certainly frigid but delightful in the warm weather, Enfield Glen swimming area. I’m sure it will be packed but at least they have a large parking area and beach.
Tommorow it’s back to Taughannock as I think Cayuga Lake will be refreshing on the heat. That beach also has shade unlike Watkins Glen pool which is pretty sunny and the water wasn’t that cool or refreshing.
