Good evening! Clear and 84 degrees in Albany, NY. There is a southwest breeze at 6 mph. The dew point is 60 degrees. Fairly warm evening. Tired after a long day at work. Probably go home, wash the kitchen floor and then go for the evening walk. Then I want to watch Donald Trump at the Republican Convention, as part of my education about the presidential election. 

Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low of 67 degrees at 4am. Five degrees above normal. South wind around 7 mph. Maximum dew point of 60 at 7pm. The record low of 47 occurred back in 1970. The sun will set at 8:25 pm with dusk around 8:58 pm, which is 52 seconds earlier than yesterday. Waning Gibbous Moon tonight with 80% illuminated. The moon will rise around 9:10 pm. The Last Quarter Moon is on Tuesday with partly cloudy skies expected. The Full β€œStrugeon” Moon is in 4 weeks.

Tomorrow will be a hot one. We will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Some storms could be severe, with hail and gusty winds. Partly sunny, with a high of 90 degrees at 3pm. Hot day. Seven degrees above normal. South wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Maximum dew point of 71 at 6pm. The record high of 102 was set in 1926.

Maximum dew point of 67 at 6am. Sunday, mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Maximum dew point of 64 at 7am. Typical average high for the weekend is 83 degrees.

In four weeks on August 18 the sun will be setting at 7:50 pm, which is 34 minutes earlier then today. The average high is 80 degrees, and the record for that date is 95 degrees was set back in 1913. After that the temperatures start to decline much quicker as we start heading into the fall.
