With fog starting to burn off, it’s now partly cloudy and 65 degrees in Albany, NY. Calm wind. Some fog heading into  the city. The dew point is  starting to climb a bit to 57 degrees.

On this day in 1967, the Newark Riots begin with over six days of rioting, looting, and destruction leaving 26 dead. We really are fortunate that despite living troubled times, there has been relatively little rioting in our cities.

This weekend it’s off to the Mine Kill State Park, assuming that the weather is reasonably nice. Get fresh vegetables at the Schoharie farm stands and camp on Saturday. With recharged air conditioning, the truck should be frigid.
