Good Morning – November 20, 2021
Good morning! Happy Regular Deer Season in Southern Zone π¦ !
Cold but clear start to the deer season this week. Today is going to be cool one but that’s to be expected during the third Saturday of November each year. Thursday is Thanksgiving with a week from Tuesday being December.
Sunny and 25 degrees in Delmar, NY. π Calm wind. Things will start to thaw out at around 8 am. π‘οΈ
It’s even a bit cold in my apartment this morning, βοΈ although I guess that’s to be expected this time of year. I could turn up the heat but it’s not that bad and it’s going to warm up. I expect higher heating bills this year, so keeping the heat down as long as possible isn’t a bad thing.
This morning I’ll probably walk out to Five Rivers π¦ and see what is out and about on this cold mid-November. I could run to the store for a few missing supplies, but I’ll probably skip that until tomorrow morning when I run to shop to get the new tires installed. Sunday I’ll head out to the folks house after getting the tires and some groceries. Monday, Big Red gets inspected.
I need to look at getting a new battery charger for my digital camera π· as since my vacation I’ve been unable to charge camera batteries, so I haven’t been able to take any high quality photos. While I don’t expect to be doing a lot of traveling the next few weeks, you never know when the opportunity presents yourself. I would for example like to do some winter camping in December.
