Good Morning – January 1, 2022

Good morning! Happy New Years Day 2022 πŸŽ‰ !

If you can read this message, it’s sign you made it to the new year. Dreary start to the New Year, I heard the rain pouring last night for a while. Now it’s stopped, but for how long?

Cloudy, damp and 45 degrees in Delmar, NY. ☁️ But it’s saving on the heat. There is a south breeze at 8 mph. πŸƒ. Temperatures will drop below freezing at tomorrow around 6 pm. β˜ƒοΈ

Evidently I decided to stay in town for this New Years Eve. 🏠 I was in bed by 8 PM, although I ended up waking up in time for them to play Auld Lang Syne and wish everybody a Happy New Years on North Country Public Radio. Last year was a lot more fun camping on the East Branch of Sacandaga River, but I guess not every winter’s night can be perfect. That said, a week ago I was out in Madison County, and it was pretty nice although cold.

Had a nice cheese πŸ§€ fondue with the folks yesterday. 🍲 Kind of nice with things more back to normal with everybody vaccinated and boosted.

I might walk out to Five Rivers, 🐦 but I am just not sure how long it will be before rain starts again, although for now it’s staying to the south.
