February 28, 2023 Morning

Good morning! It’s the dire winter emergency according to the morning news. I mean there is some snow and ice on the secondary roads but the sidewalks are clear and I’m out for my morning walk on this Tuesday. ๐Ÿšถ

Overcast and 27 degrees in Delmar, NY. โ˜๏ธThere is a east-southeast breeze at 10 mph. ๐Ÿƒ. There is maybe 4 inches of snow on the ground. โ˜ƒ ๏ธThings will start to thaw out at around 1 pm. ๐ŸŒก๏ธ

So I was worried about the snow interfering with my morning walk ๐Ÿ‘ฃ but it stopped early and the sidewalks and roads are pretty much clear locally. Maybe it’s the valley snow shadow they were talking about. Truth is it’s a pretty nice morning, not real cold. But then again the average high for this time of year is 40. Depending on how much more snow we get later and how warm it gets today I could see wet sidewalks by evening and bare by tomorrow morning.

Maybe the express bus ๐Ÿš from Voorheesville will be a bit late ๐Ÿšbut I will get ready and watch it on the map ๐Ÿ—บ from inside and head out when it gets to Slingerlands. I live in the city, what do I care?

Today will snow, mainly before 4pm. ๐ŸŒจ High of 33 degrees at 2pm. Six degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical day around February 8th. I had a slice of the corn bread I made up Sunday and some coffee โ˜•. Iron my shirt ๐Ÿ‘š and shower ๐Ÿšฟ and head off to work. ๐Ÿข And do the usual game. Yesterday I made hash browns in the oven from the farmers market potatoes ๐Ÿฅ” with an egg ๐Ÿฅš, some corn ๐ŸŒฝ and cheese ๐Ÿง€.
