February 17, 2016 Night

Good evening. Currently overcast and 30 degrees in Delmar. Tonight will be scattered snow showers, mainly before 2am. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 19. West wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

When you look up in the sky to the south, there is a waxing gibbous moon, setting at 2:15 am. Full moon on February 22nd. Tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 6:46 am with first light at 6:18 am, which is 2 minutes and 27 seconds earlier then today. You might actually wake to a sunny morning tomorrow. Better than the depressing weather of late.

Tomorrow will be sunny, with a high near 29. Northwest wind around 10 mph. Going to be cold with the windchill but having a bright and sunny day just seems to lift the spirit. If it has to be cold, I’d prefer it to be sunny. So many cloudy days this winter has been so depressing.

I think the Save the Pine Bush Dinner went well. I got to wear all the hats tonight. I sat up front, I washed dishes, put part of dinner, did a short presentation, and greeted guests. It was a fun evening and a successful dinner.

Other than that it was a pretty busy and long day. A Hump Day for sure. Friday I have defensive driving, which is certain to make for a long day, although I figure I’ll spend many hours doodling during class.

I hope you had a good day. Tomorrow’s Thursday and the weekend ain’t that far away. Sleep well!
