It’s been a long time since we had a good rainy evening. But it really poured both waiting for the bus and then all evening when I got home. Helped make time to do some reading, put away my winter clothes, heater and get out the big fan – I’ll need it next week it seems.

I have been exploring the NY Senate Open Legislation API, which has virtually all of the data on LRS including previous bill history in an easily machine readable JSON format. It also has Assembly bills, though is missing Assembly Floor and Assembly Committee Votes, which can though be scrapped from the Assembly’s website with some help of and abbreviated member to district number table.

I left work around 6 o’clock last night but the bus was running almost a half hour late π so I didn’t get home until nearly seven.
