Yesterday, was pretty much a typical work day, rather hot by mid-afternoon. 😅 I tried to stay cool, and keep my coolers cool – but already the heat has been tough on the ice. I am trying to use up as much of the milk, eggs, and meat as possible 🥩 🥛 before it goes rancid between my breakfast of eggs and sausage, 🍳 and burritos 🌯 for dinner last night.

I am slowly taking down camp, ⛺ leaving up the screen tent as long as possible to dry out. We had a good rain shower a little before dusk last night and got everything wet, although I was able to hop in back of my truck and miss out in the brief but very heavy rain. A bit worried about the weather later today for driving back after work, but I”ll take it one hour at a time. 🌩 If it gets too bad, I guess I can stay overnight and leave very early to drive home.
Buggy this morning, and just super humid. 🐜 Today I will work in town, either down by Lake Algonquin and the Speculator Library. 💻 Yesterday I worked from camp, with the hotspot and the phone, but I don’t want to use too much bandwidth and sometimes the internet was a bit unreliable. While it was certainly cooler to camp off of NY 8B, although I probably would have had much more reliable and faster service if I had camped off of Hartwood Hill. 📶

On this day in 1968, Robert F. Kennedy’s funeral takes place at the St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. Ironically, or maybe not, NPR had a story about RFK Jr., maybe not the good RFK, about the his anti-vaccine activism. I think it’s kind of silly, but if people don’t want to get the two shots and want to get sick from COVID-19, then it’s their loss. I don’t think it’s bad to ask questions.
