Sort of half watched the debate. While I voted for Jill Stein, I’ve grown quite comfortable with Hillary Clinton as the likely next president. Trump is just getting killed so badly. The Republicans really made a bad choice with their choice. It will be interesting to see how badly they loose come election day.
As a low information voter, I’ve never really paid all that much attention to nation politics. I’ve always been more interested in state politics, but even them I don’t follow that carefully. I occasionally read the State of Politics blog, but mostly I get my news from social media and WAMC / NPR in morning. Been watching the PBS Newshour more, but I still don’t think I’m that well informed about the happenings in government.
I’m happy I got my truck inspected today. I checked the oil today and it’s in the normal range at 3/4 mark in the normal trange. I do need to think about getting the brake pads replaced and tires rotated, preferably before my November trip. Might go back to Mavis in Cicero to have that done. We’ll see. Might be easier to just get it done before I risk damaging the rotators.
I think I double paid my car insurance bill. I overpaid the first time then when I got the revised bill I thought I canceled it but it looks like the money was sent. I’m hoping the insurance company will deny the transaction. It’s kind of a pain but some how the auto pay didn’t cancel.
While watching the debate, I made up some more maps of Western NY forests. Should be caught up on map of the day for a while.
