The valley being so deep around Betty Brook the sun sets early, and rises late this time of year. Looking at the sun through the trees, a little after 9 AM.

The pool at the bottom of Mine Kill Falls. They occasionally send a NYPA police person to chase people out of this pool, but it still is a popular swimming place in the summer-time.

I love this campsite. Lots of wildlife with the recent tree cut reverting back to woods, very remote and quiet, but I have some cell reception.

Got caught in a surprisingly heavy rain storm when I was driving back to camp after a day out bike riding along NY 30 and then swimming at Mine Kill Pool.
