New York State

New York is a state in the Northeastern region of the United States. New York is the 27th-most extensive, the 3rd-most populous, and the 7th-most densely populated of the 50 United States. New York is bordered by New Jersey and Pennsylvania to the south, and by Connecticut, Massachusetts and Vermont to the east. The state has a maritime border with Rhode Island east of Long Island, as well as an international border with the Canadian provinces of Ontario to the west and north, and Quebec to the north. The state of New York is often referred to as New York State to distinguish it from New York City.

Woodhull Lake

Take Wolf Lake Landing Road to the Wolf Lake Landing Parking area. Carry your boatd 1/4 mile to the lake. Wolf Lake was merged with Woodhull Lake when the reservior was formed. There is a lean-to, outhouse, and a good place to launch a hand-carried boat. AT the southern-most portion of the lake there is a a dam that holds back the lake. Part of the lake is lightly developed with cabins along the shoreline.

Exit 10 Sidney Interchange on Interstate 88

Built up against the Poplar Hill, which makes for a tight ramp heading north-bound, though probably relatively little traffic actually heads north out of Sidney with the preference being more southerly, with north bound traffic more frequently staying on NY 7.

Union Falls Pond And Surrounding Areas

Union Falls Flow is an impoundment on the Saranac River and lies immediately downstream of Franklin Falls Flow. Nearby is Silver Pond and Taylor Lake in the North-Eastern Adirondacks.
