Elm Avenue Town Park

The town’s largest park is located on Elm Avenue, one-fourth mile south of the Delmar bypass (Route 32). The park includes a pool complex, tennis and basketball courts, pavilions, fitness trail, playing fields, volleyball courts, shuffleboard, a dog park, and a playground. The basketball courts and four tennis courts are lit at night beginning in late May until late October. Winter facilities include a large ice skating rink, sledding hill, cross country skiing, and an area for snowmobiling.

Good morning! Yeah, it’s Friday! Mostly sunny and 66 degrees in Selkirk. There is a south breeze at 5 mph. The dew point is 61 degrees.

Today will be sunny, with a high of 89 degrees at 4pm. A fairly hot and humid early August day. Seven degrees above normal. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Maximum dew point of 64 at 10am. Good morning! Happy Tuesday. Mostly sunny and 65 degrees in Delmar. There is a west-northwest breeze at 9 mph. The dew point is 56 degrees. Nice morning. Very low humidity today with the dew point expected to drop throughout the day. 

Today will be mostly sunny, with a high of 80 degrees at 3pm. Three degrees below normal. Northwest wind 9 to 14 mph. Maximum dew point of 58 at 8am. The record high of 97 was set in 1904.

Good evening! Partly cloudy and 76 degrees in Selkirk. There is a south-southwest breeze at 6 mph. The dew point is 65 degrees. Back home watching the Republican National Convention, after going to the park then down to the store. Trying to learn more about each candidate before I go out voting this November. 

Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low of 63 degrees at 5am. One degrees above normal. South wind 5 to 9 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Maximum dew point of 65 at 10pm. The record low of 47 occurred back in 1875. Waxing Gibbous Moon tonight. The moon will set around 5:13 am. The Full “Buck” Moon is tomorrow.

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny, with a high of 78 degrees at 2pm. Five degrees below normal. Northwest wind 6 to 11 mph. Maximum dew point of 56 at 7am. A very nice, clear day. Low humidity.
