If you were hoping for a warm up any time soon, the answer is probably no. But hey, at some point spring will arrive. And enjoy the temperatures in the mid-30s today, that’s probably the best break we can hope for in the raw deal of lately.

Got to enjoy the nice weather while it sticks around 🌥
Maybe nice weather is too strong of a term but it’s January and the standards are so low these days. But I’ll take weather in the mid 30s, especially looking down the barrel towards the long cold weekend ❄ that I was so looking forward to getting out of town. Truth be told, that only happened a few times over the years during Martin Luther King weekend.
Not sure what to think about the possibility of snow 🌨 on Monday. It’s still so far away but it could happen. Or maybe not. Certainly looks like it will be cold enough the next few weeks that the snow may stick around which is increasingly rare in the Albany area with the warming climate.

Good Morning – January 13, 2022
Good morning! Happy Make Your Dream Come True Day ! ☺
Mostly cloudy and 29 degrees at the West Capitol Park. 🌥 Calm wind. Things will start to thaw out at around 10 am. 🌡️
Out for the morning walk 🚶. Not by a lot but I managed to catch the earlier express downtown. 🚍 Time was a bit tight this morning as I kind of slept in later then I do many days mainly because I woke up a little after midnight and couldn’t get back to bed. 🤪 I’m just kind of bummed out about not being able to get out of town this weekend with the weather.
Today my goal 🥅 is to get more then 10,000 steps in to make up for the lost days 🚶 with the cold weather earlier in week and then session days when I was dressed up and taking the local to work. Maybe 15,000 would be better, today is going to be quite mild.
