The rumble of the sportsman’s pick up, the headlights in the distance are a sign that morning is soon to be broken, that I must head east on the US 20 as I must head back to Albany on this rather foggy morning. From a bit east of Nelson, it’s only a hundred miles back to the big city after passing many a hill and many a farm.

While it was a dark drive home with the piss poor headlights on my lifted truck with the heavy rain and fog, I made it home safely. Madison County really is a spectacularly beautiful, wild country, especially the southern portion with the hills, forests and farms. I really enjoy seeing the small towns, it’s a nice change from the dirty polluted city. Taking the bus downtown tomorrow morning, then back on the road later this week.
