One of the benefits of camping on Piseco Powley Road is there is no cell service up here – and with the southern part of the road closed its not like I can duck down to Stratford for a quick text or post. I’ve not been without cell service for this long for some time now and it’s good because it’s allowed me to have some quiet time to think and write without constantly checking social media. Now with having remote work, having cell service is normally a blessing but this has been a true vacation weekend and I’m totally disconnected.

Will Powley Road Open End of Summer

Could Piseco Powley Road be fully open by the autumn hunting season?

I bet those handful of cabin owners on the lower part of Piseco Road past the bridge are looking forward to accessing their cabins again. As are the many people who access the area normally from the south.

This post shows some pictures of the bridge they replaced at Piseco Place and the current southbound end of Powley Road at the Potholers.
