Earlville State Forset
The Earlville State Forest, also know as Madison 2 , is 634 acres and is located in the town of Lebanon about two miles west of the village of Earlville, at an elevation of nearly 1600 feet. There is a camping site located along the truck trail . One is near a spring which has potable water. Songbirds stop off here during their spring and fall migrations. The forest is used by hunters seeking deer, turkey and gray squirrel. Morgan Road and the forest access road for the property are not plowed during winter months, however, a snowmobile trail passes through the state forest.
