The images are shocking and scary. An armed mob swarmed the Capitol building Wednesday and as of this writing, one woman has been shot. The mob supports outgoing President onald Trump and, despite all evidence to the contrary, believes he won the election.
President-elect Joe Biden also addressed Americans, calling on the mob to leave and asking them to consider "what our children watching television are thinking."
The U.S. Capitol was engulfed in chaos on Wednesday, as supporters of President Trump, responding to his call to head there, breached the complex, resulting in violence in the seat of America's federal government.
The surreal and dangerous scene interrupted proceedings in the House and Senate, as members of Congress were taking up President-elect Joe Biden's Electoral College victory.
"A tractor-trailer driver found himself in an unusual situation Wednesday morning because of what the driver said was a GPS error."
"Ventnor City Police Chief Doug Biagi said an officer spotted an 18-wheel tractor trailer the near Washington Avenue section of the Boardwalk around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday."
"According to the police chief, this is the second time in two months that a truck has come down the boardwalk in Ventnor. The first time was a building supply truck back in July."
