Heading home early from work today for the long weekend. After the Save the Pine Bush hike tomorrow, I’m thinking about heading up to the Adirondacks to do some camping during the long weekend. βΊ While there is definitely some snow left up north there ain’t a lot in the lower elevations and I should be able to find parking. Probably stay up north until New Years Eve, maybe through New Years Day weather permitting. I guess I could still change my mind. I don’t know. It would be easier and cheaper to stay home and there is a lot of things that I should work on getting done.
I am tired after the holidays and a busy work week, but it’s not that big of deal to get packed. I don’t need that many supplies 🎒 beyond maybe some gasoline and a case of beer and some shredded cheese.β½ Maybe some firewood too. I should have plenty of propane, I haven’t used the propane heater and stove that many nights since I last filled it. Maybe I should top it off if I’m planning on three nights.
