Crunchy and Woke

In my mind, crunchy people are the same as woke people. But apparently there is a difference, at least according to Meta AI.

“Crunchy” and “woke” are two distinct terms that have gained popularity in different contexts.

“Crunchy” often refers to individuals who prioritize natural, organic, and sustainable living. They might be interested in activities like hiking, camping, or homesteading, and value self-sufficiency and environmentalism. Think of someone who enjoys granola, yoga, and essential oils.

On the other hand, “woke” typically describes people who are socially conscious and aware of issues like racism, sexism, and other forms of oppression. They often advocate for social justice and equality, and might be involved in activism or advocacy work.

While there can be overlap between the two groups (e.g., someone who cares about environmental justice), they aren’t interchangeable terms. Crunchy tends to focus on lifestyle choices and personal wellness, whereas woke focuses on social and political awareness.
