Cool but sunny after the rain storm ☀️

Breezy but sunshine today once the sun reaches high enough over the horizon to light the landscape. I have pinto beans and in a separate brown pot rice and red lentils cooking down on the stove, protein, fiber and carbs to power through the second half of week as I should be able to ride to work the two remaining days of the week.

On my desk the calendar says 📆 that Saturday marks 4 weeks, since I ordered the truck cap. Even with $4.50 gas, I’m ready to have the bank cut the check for the truck cap, so I can get things wired up and my gear moved over to there, and get back out in the woods to battle the black flies. 🐜 It will be nice to get back up in woods, have a big ol’ fire 🔥 and spend a few nights in wilderness. Been a long time since that windy cold Christmas Day I spent camping up in Rensselearville on that final trip with Big Red.

Back to riding my bike to work. 🚴 I did the bus thing yesterday, and it was fine, but it’s kind of annoying taking the local bus, especially in the evening when I have that half hour to spend walking 🚶 as I wait for the transfer. It’s good to get the exercise, I do some laps in the Plaza and then take the MVP Arena Walkway down most of the way to SUNY World Headquarters  and catch the bus there. 🚍 Got home last night, and it was more cornmeal pancakes with shredded onions and spinach, as I’m trying use the onions 🧅 up before the sprout any more. Then I ended up watching some YouTube and not spending enough time reading, and a night of poor sleep with the windows closed 🪟 as it was too cold and damp to have windows open.

I might go out to Five Rivers 🐸 after work, I guess it depends on how cold it is with the wind and if I feel like doing it. 🪿 It would be the first time this week, as it’s either been rainy, cold or I had to shopping. Depends how I feel after work. We’ll I should shower 🚿 as I need to get in Theo office as I have work to do.
