It was a Wednesday. πŸ’»Modestly busy day but I think I’m wrapping up the Save the Pine Bush project and I even went for my evening walk 🚢 and I didn’t get rained on. Not real hot but muggy this evening. But still I’ve been missing my walk lately so it was nice for a change. Yesterday, I also went for a nice little walk in the Albany Pine Bush Preserve.

I really got to get back in the habit of walking more. 🚢 It just seems like lately I’ve become so lazy. It’s in part though because I get busy but I also need to set out more time for exercise. It’s been kind of hot lately but soon it will be September cooling down and I want to be in decent shape for hiking more.

Yesterday after hiking in the Pine Bush I went shopping at Market 32 in Guilderland. πŸ‘ I bought a few groceries but it seemed kind of pricey there so I held off buying a lot of things – just enough through the weekend. I was annoyed that most of their pasta sauce was in glass – which doesn’t really get recycled and is a pain to wash out. Plastic is so much easier, especially if I end up taking it to camp with me.

Not made up a lot of maps lately

Lately I’ve not made up a lot of maps. I’ve been busy, doing a lot of travel and camping, and the Save the Pine Bush volunteer volunteer work has been consuming a lot of my time. Plus the DEC has not released any new data lately, so my opportunity to make new maps lately has been limited.

Once winter comes I’ll be home a lot more, although who knows I’ll probably be wasting my time watching videos on the excerise bike about off-grid living and farming as that’s the way lately I like to past the time lately. I don’t own a television but I like to download videos at the library and watch how real people make a life out in the country. I cab dream of a better life.

I could do maps of other states but that gets difficult as it requires a completely different data set with separate style files to make it work. Plus it’s challenging to make maps up of areas I do not know, and many of the other states already have better maps than New York.

Lately too I’ve been doing more essay writing, as I like to jot down my thoughts and share them. I feel like the commercial media isn’t really doing a good job explaining the world I live in or how I see things. Maybe my views aren’t widely read or shared but I like sharing them.
