Heard the first spring peepers tonight 🐸

I went for a walk to the town park this evening around the back loop and along the Phillipen Kill. Made it back home before the rain. A group of turkey vultures where flying around above Elm Avenue and I heard but didn’t see the barred owl 🦉. A few boring old robbins and red wing black birds though fewer of the red wing black birds then I’ve been seeing lately. No deer tonight, vernal pools were pretty full along the trail though they’ll dry up come summer.
