August 7, 2020 Night
Good evening! Cloudy and humid and 69 degrees in Delmar, NY. β Calm wind. The dew point is 65 degrees. The skies will clear tomorrow around 8 am.
I was going to leave tonight but studying the radar β½ I decided it was going to be a pretty wet night camping π and it best wait until morning. π I have everything ready to go except the coolers buy I should be on the road by 7 pm. I didn’t really want to camp at Cherry Ridge π during the pandemic while it was crowded at any rate Plus I’m still thinking about heading out via NY 23 for a change. Kind of pokey that was but I haven’t driven much of that road in years and I kind of like seeing the deep rural π parts of the state. Something different then US 20 or my least favorite – NY 206 and NY 79. Vacation isn’t over tomorrow so I still have plenty of time to camp, especially as I plan to spend all of the week this year in the Finger Lakes.
