April 22, 2021 Morning
Good morning! Happy Earth Day π ! The earth, at least in Albany, the center of the earth, is shivering on this Earth Day for sure. After all, haven’t you seen gold star β printed on the map of New York imprinted on the bridges along NY 85 in Albany? Albany clearly is the center of the world. Snow flurries, blustery and cold at the freezing point in Delmar, NY. β There is a west-northwest breeze at 11 mph. π. Cold enough that there almost might be some frost in the cold, but only somewhat hard ground. The skies will clear around 4 pm.
It was a cold morning for the walk. πΆβοΈ Not only are temperatures only a little above the freezing mark π¬ the wind is really whipping around. But the sun is nice and bright, which is a good thing. βοΈ Kind of cold inside, because I’m stubborn as duck π¦ and I refuse to turn the heat back on for the year. π΄ A little drowsy this morning, as I took two sleeping pills last night π which meant I slept soundly but I still feel drowsy in the morning. But it’s fine I’m working from home.
Today will have a chance of snow showers before 10am, then a chance of rain and snow showers between 10am and noon, then a chance of rain showers after noon. Today will have 13 hours and 43 minutes of daytime, an increase of 2 minutes and 40 seconds over yesterday.
Tonight will be partly cloudy π΄, with a low of 33 degrees at 3am. Seven degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical night around April 5th. West wind 11 to 14 mph.
