Yesterday was the first real spring thaw, with the mercury reaching 86 or 89 or something in the high eighties. But it didn’t feel that way in the afternoon with a breeze and dew points in the fifties.

Good morning! Yeah, it’s Friday! We made it almost to the weekend. Partly clear and 55 degrees in Delmar, NY. πŸŒ… Calm wind. The dew point is 45 degrees.

Today will be mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny β˜πŸ‘‰ β˜€ , with a high of 87 degrees at 4pm. 28 degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 50 at 2pm. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon. A year ago, we had mostly sunny skies in the morning, which became light rain by afternoon. The high last year was 82 degrees. The record high of 83 was set in 1968. 1.4 inches of snow fell back in 1950.❄

Not too bad though I wish we had a bit more daylight in the evening to spend on down there. By the time I get back, it’s dark out and time for bed.

North wind 3 to 5 mph. In 2022, we had cloudy skies in the evening, which became mostly clear by the early hours of the morning. It got down to 35 degrees. The record low of 21 occurred back in 1940.

Tomorrow will have a slight chance of showers after 2pm. Partly sunny 🌞, with a high of 78 degrees at 3pm. 19 degrees above normal, which is similar to a typical day around June 9th. Maximum dew point of 55 at 6pm. Southeast wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%. A year ago, we had mostly sunny skies in the morning, which became light rain by afternoon.
