Canandaigua Lake

Canandaigua Lake is the fourth largest of the Finger Lakes in the U.S. state of New York. The City of Canandaigua is located at the northern end of the lake and the village of Naples is several miles south of the southern end. It is the westernmost of the major Finger Lakes. This lake is less agricultural, especially on the southern end where there are high hills surrounding the lake.

Tonawanda Coke

Tonawanda Coke Corporation (TCC) has operated a coke manufacturing facility at this location since 1978, and the property has been used for the coke manufacturing since 1917. Coke is made by heating coal at high temperatures in the absence of air. On October 14, 2018, TCC suspended operations and initiated process shutdown to permanently close its facility.
