I Voted βœ…

I was like I could sit over my choice for President for the next month, but it's just a bubble on the scantron, so I might as well fill in one of the bubbles, get it done and not have to think about it any more. It doesn't really matter, New York is not a swing state, if I vote for Trump or Kamela, the next result is the same -- all of state's electoral votes will still go to Kamela if the polling is to be believed and there is no dramatic changes between now and November.

Voting is the most meaningful and meaningless activity out there. Ultimately, it's just a mark on the scantron card, stuffed into an anonymous envelope, mailed off for free, and counted with millions of other ballots.

That advertisement for gun control by some left-wing group this morning in my social media feed  (remember those poor dying ghetto criminals who can't help but shoot each other with illegal handguns) may have ultimately influenced my vote for President or the low-stakes for voting for Trump in New York, and the smugness of liberals these days, but I do sort of hope Kamela ultimately wins in the swing states, as I want to be able to legally bring pot across state lines, and travel to places where it's cheaper. I bet once pot is legal in West Virginia, not only will be it be cheap, but it will be good quality stuff, as there has been a lot of folks growing it covertly in the hills and hollars over the years.

And I do hope for more innovation when it comes to electric cars and renewable energy, and I do think Democrats are generally better for consumer protections, though Republicans do better for cutting government, getting it off our backs, and cutting taxes. Not to mention protecting our gun rights, and keeping the forests and public lands open to public use, and not all locked up behind permits, fees, and motorless wilderness areas.
