I thought the photo electric detectors were supposed to be more reliable with fewer false triggers. There is no smoke, no cooking or showering at that hour. But it still triggered. And now I’m triggered. That was obnoxious.

I’ll survive this pseudo Monday regardless. 💈 I was going to catch the earlier express bus in to walk, 🚶‍♀️ but then I decided I needed to cut my hair and time was tight, and then I misplaced my headphones, 🎧 so I ended up missing even the later express. The local is running late too. 🕓 Isn’t that fantastic.

Black beans soup is on the stove this morning. 🍲 That’s going to be dinner tonight. Frozen vegetables 🥦, tofu, smoked paprika and nutritional yeast is going to be lunch. Getting away from rice and lentils for lunch now as lately it’s been rough on the stomach and I’m ready for a change. 🤮 Last night was a stew with turkey, carrots, celery, corn and some other things, along with flour and spices to thicken it up. Pretty good meal. Lunch was frying up the last of the onions and sweet potatoes I had before going shopping. 👨‍🍳

Getting up at 4 AM wasn’t so bad though as I was asleep a little after 7 PM, as I was tired after heading out camping. Skipped making bread last night 🍞 as I didn’t feel like kneading and wanted to get to bed early. 🛌 Despite my early rising, I think I got a decent night’s sleep.
