Mild but cooling off with a stiff breeze as the day progresses π¬
With the time change, I am sure they have to ramp up the plants as they expect a lot of demand this evening. But get out and enjoy it before it’s cold again. β Gets dark so early this time of year. We’ve been blessed though by a lot of warm and mild weekends this autumn, and it’s been a good time, all things considered. Still until the weekend, lots of sun is expected and clear nights, which should be good for seeing the lunar eclipse early in the morning tomorrow. π

Three day work week with Election Day and Veterans Day all in one week. That rarely happens. And a lunar eclipse in the morning tomorrow. Fun times.

It’s nice with the time change π to have enough light to walk πΆ at six o’clock although I’m sure that will only last a few more weeks as we continue to loose daylight. Tomorrow though I will have to get up early to see the lunar eclipse π.
It was such a nice day yesterday π¦ that after walking πΆ out to Five Rivers Environmental Education Center I went out to my parents house and had burgers π then to the cat wash π» and got groceries for the week. I forgot a few things on my list π but I may run to the store again if I decide to head out of town for the long weekend.
Tomorrow is Election Day. π³ I was going to vote in the evening π but I’m thinking the morning would be better with me being up early the eclipse. I am one of the rare undecided voters this year but over time I’ve been researching the candidates and issues. The second amendment and gun rights π« is important as is fracking to help rural communities but I also am concerned about climate change π and social justice issues π and candidate quality. π As such I’ll probably split the ticket and mostly vote on the Conservative and Working Families lines. Change is good, without term limits politicians stop caring and it just becomes a game for them, especially as they get elderly. I am still undecided on the Bethlehem Proposition, though I totally get where the farm bureau is coming down on that there.
But other then that, I’m tired of elections β and will be ready once they stop talking about them on the news. π» I know, it will be another week of analysis after the Elections but that’s different then people being all contentious about who to vote for and all the political ads.
I would like to head out of town next weekend π΅ for Veterans Day Weekend but I am not sure about the weather. Still looks like rain for Saturday and then very cold on Sunday. And then cold the following week. This would be the week to get out of town π but I would rather save some of my limited time, and use the long weekend if possible. Maybe the next time I can do is a vacation type trip is after the Thanksgiving Holiday. π¦ I might also do a December trip during Black Powder season, depending on how cold and snowy it is in that month.
