Good morning! Happy Mother’s Day 🌷

A beautiful spring day after a rather cloudy and gray day on Saturday.

Partly sunny 🌞 and 54 degrees at the Five Rivers Environmental Education Center. There is a northeast breeze at 10 mph. πŸƒ. More clouds to the south.

Out for a morning walk to Five Rivers 🐸, I figure enjoy the cool weather before the heat comes in tomorrow. Going to be hot by mid week. Gray Cat πŸ™€ birds are back. Leaf out is occurring but it’s been slow compared to many years. Breeze is stiff enough with things still pretty brown out up north their warning ⚠ of the wildfire risk.

This afternoon I’m catching a bus into the city for the tulip 🌷 festival to table for a few hours for Save the Pine Bush. πŸ¦‹ I am going to wear my mask 😷 and be careful as Covid-19 is spiking lately.

Yesterday I hiked Bennett Hill. 🌱 Some greening up but not a lot. I guess out in the hilltowns, spring comes late.
