Good morning! What day is it? A mild Hump Day, of course.
πΉπ»πΌOnly 4 days remain until the first day of calendar spring!πΉπ»πΌ
Sun β poking through the fog π« and 36 degrees in Delmar, NY. There is a west-northwest breeze at 5 mph. π.
Somewhat of a foggy π start to the day but already warming up β with temperatures expected to reach into upper fifties by afternoon.
I got down to the express bus stop π early and now I’m waiting for the bus to depart the station π so I can get downtown and do my walk before. I want to get in my steps before later so I can go to the store and wash my truck. Hopefully we are mostly done with the road salt now. π
I am also kind of low on a lot of miscellaneous groceries π§ although I certainly could mash things together if necessary as I bought extra last week but it’s a good day to wash my truck and I got paid yesterday so I have a few dollars π΅ in my wallet. Gas prices are starting to moderate a bit so I might put $30 in my truck to get through the rest of the month.
I’m glad that the rest of the week I don’t have to dress up for work π¨π»βπΌ as it means that I can get in my steps on the Plaza early in the morning, take the express bus π and walk at Washington Park π at lunch or maybe Lincoln Park. Saturday again doesn’t look good for getting many steps in but I might go to the library π. Lately I talk more about going to the library then actually going down there. I think I’m burnt out from those years working remote π»down at the library. That was a crazy time π€ͺ during the pandemic but I sure liked those days working remote from camp.
I was thinking that it was two years ago this week that remote work started with the pandemic. πΎ What crazy time, I wasn’t at all prepared not having internet at home. I couldn’t add data to my phone as I had bought data a year in advance. But especially on the warmer days it was nice working down at the library. π» The solar gain through the windshield was nice and warm. Summer was though hot working from the truck even with the shade and fan.
