Weather Update – November 26, 2021

The rain waited for morning to arrive. 🌧

Actually that’s a lie. it was raining when I got home last night when I wanted to go out for my evening walk after Thanksgiving. πŸ¦ƒ Some point though it will be nice and not as cold as Saturday plans to be, somewhat ruining my plans to get out of town.

I might try to walk down to the library πŸ“š if the rain lets up 🌧 and then get on the internet there, where I don’t have to be watching the meter constantly, 🌑making sure I’m not using too much of my limited hotspot/mobile broadband. The library closes at 5 PM today, so I can’t go too late, and I will have to make sure to bring my muzzle. 😷

I am hopeful that my new tires will arrive sometime next week, and then I can get the truck inspected and move forward with the inspection and getting the vehicle on the road. 🚘 To be prepared for that, I plan to stock up at the grocery store this week to make sure I have plenty of food should it be a few days without a car. πŸͺ I can always get groceries during lunch time or take a bus to the laundromat but it’s a bit of a pain.

Good Morning – November 26, 2021

Good morning! Happy Buy Nothing Day πŸ›οΈ !

Not that you can buy anything, because the store shelves are half bare, because people can’t get their cheap shit from China that burns so black and produces so many persistent organic pollutants. Or if you can still buy plastic fodder for your burning barrels and I won’t tell Pete Grannis, but it’s going to be expensive like the tires for my big jacked up truck.

Rain and with a few globby snowflakes mixed in but too cold to stick around 36 degrees in Delmar, NY. ❄ Calm wind. Temperatures will drop below freezing at around 8 pm. β˜ƒοΈ Not a particularly nice day in Biden’s America, although probably the shortages are more due to COVID and the Trump tariffs.

Had a good Thanksgiving dinner that couldn’t be beat, πŸ¦ƒ and made it home without a call from Officer Obbie, πŸ“ž although that’s probably because I drove home before dark, didn’t drink much, 🍷and didn’t dump my garbage in woods. I’m saving the cans for recycling after all. ♻️

I was hoping to get up north for Buy Nothing Day through Sunday, πŸ• but with the cold rain and snow, and the cold and wind tomorrow, followed by snow on Sunday, β›„ that was not to be. I am still hoping to get out of town before the end of the year, and once I have new tires, and that shock bushing fixed πŸ”§at least I will have better traction and less swaying, that is God willing.
