Good Morning – August 10, 2021

Good morning! Happy Tuesday. πŸŒ₯

Going to be a hot one. Or so I’m told with the heat advisories. Drink lots of water. πŸ’¦

Partly cloudy and 68 degrees in Delmar, NY. πŸŒ₯ There is a south-southeast breeze at 10 mph. πŸƒ. The dew point is 67 degrees. The muggy weather ends Sunday around noontime. πŸ˜“

There is a pretty good breeze this morning πŸƒwhich makes for decent weather for the morning walk. The mountains to the west are shrouded with haze and it looks rather like I am about to get wet but the radar seems to disagree. β›ˆ

Feeling better this morning ☺ as I replaced that old contact that was causing eye strain all of yesterday. πŸ‘€ And cooled off by the early hours of the morning. Drank a lot of water πŸ’¦ as I think I was dehydrated and it was super hot in my bedroom last night. I do need to get the Emperors Vision and pick up my contacts. πŸ€“

I am working downtown today 🏒 because I figure it will be a lot cooler and I won’t be running down to the library when I need to edit or research something I can’t do on my phone. That said, next week when I replace my smashed phone πŸ“± I’ll have hot spot after they add the service to the standard 25 gb plan I’ve had for years now.

It’s back to wearing the muzzle in the office. 😷 At least when I’m away from the desk. It’s probably not a bad idea, the Delta πŸ”½ COVID is really bad locally at least in the sense of the number of positive tests although there haven’t been a lot of deaths locally ⚰. What can you say, vaccination πŸ’‰ works. Even though it really kind of ducks. πŸ¦† Honestly, I don’t blame the people who aren’t vaccinated for spreading Delta, I think it was inevitable. If people want to make foolish choices and die then let them do it. Despite what all the miserable old people πŸ‘΄πŸΌ are saying, it doesn’t really effect them if they are vaccinated.
