Good morning! Happy Ugly Truck Day 🚚!

I live in New York State, they put a lot of salt on the roads and all cars have giant rust holes in them unless they are brand new for a year or two. Rust belt life.

The fog 🌫 is making the sun ☀ a beet red 🐞 color and it’s still around 67 degrees in Delmar, NY. ⛅ Calm wind. The dew point is 66 degrees. The muggy weather ends tomorrow around 11 pm. 😓 Finally, it’s been a real run for the heat and humidity.

Woke up fairly early 😴 and are out for the morning walk 🚶🏻. Foggy 🌁 but the red sun is kind of pretty. Lately I’ve noticed more sleeping issues, maybe it’s the heat and humidity or the longer nights. I do try to get to bed earlier.

The air has the taste of barnyard on it 🐔 reminding me that in less than a week I’ll be listening to the sound of cows ripping the grass 🌾in their mouth on vacation. 🏊🏻‍♂️ Days swimming in the gorge and pools. And if I can get them, a lot of clams soaked in beer. So far away from the Albany.

My smaller monthly cell plan 📱 is now in effect so no more hours of watching videos on my phone. No more hot spot either so when I want to get on the internet with my laptop, I’ll need to go to the library 📚. I’m glad, I’m trying to stay off my phone and I don’t want to spend my vacation watching people tinker around with manure spreaders on YouTube. I try to limit my time to less than 30 minutes a day scrolling 📜 through Facebook and I haven’t been on at all this morning.

Breakfast today is pancakes 🥞 with semi fresh blueberries, mainly because they were cheap while I was at the store after the dentist and could be left in the truck while I worked at the library yesterday. 🖥 I do plan to hitting up the farm stands on vacation 🌽 especially because frozen fruits aren’t an option on vacation and fresh sweet corn is good with beer boiled clams.
