Good morning! What day is it? Hump Day, of course. 🐪 The day of the week with the fast let down. Six weeks to National Nude Day 👱. You’re not going to want much clothes come the weekend into the next week with the first heat wave 🌊 of the summer expected to arrive. Sunny and 55 degrees in Delmar, NY. 🌞 Calm wind. The dew point is 49 degrees.
Out this morning for the walk 🚶🏻 early at 6:45 am as it’s going to get warm later and I’m working downtown 🏢 so I need time to get ready, shower 🚿, get the politician suit on 👨🏻🏫, and catch the bus 🚍 downtown. Still no news 📰 on the express bus stop 🚏 coming back. Already found my nail 💅🏼 clippers and they look all purty, going to trim my hair too. For in person work I have to be less of a dirty hillbilly hick. 👨🏻🌾
Plus, I want to get in the habit of getting an early start 🌅 as it’s important Friday to leave for Spectulator before seven to avoid traffic and be there before nine when I have to get down to work. 💻 It will be pleasant working by Lake Pleasant on Friday. I’d like to get to the Potholers later in June for a long weekend during some real sweltering weather but not until session is over and things are quieter. And I want to be up early a week from Thursday for the solar eclipse 🌖. Only partial locally but I have my solar glasses 👓 ready to go.
Next week is going to be hot. 🏖 I would work from the Adirondacks all next week but I have to be in the office 🏢 on Wednesday so I’ll probably have to come late on Monday just because I expect all next week to be long days either in the office or from the woods. I got the extra fan out from the actic and I will keep the curtains drawn and sometimes a ice cold shower 🚿 after work is in order. But I expect most of the hottest part of the day I’ll be in the office. I’m hoping in a few weeks it will be hot again, as I could use a ninety plus day or three at the Potholers maybe with some beer boiled clams. 🍻🐚

I fixed my camp lantern 🏮. I had all the parts I needed from the old one that got clogged from operating without a filter. I tell myself I’ll be more careful next time and I also need to pick up some glass gloves as I need them for back up and not all Wally World’s have them.
So far I am very happy with my Oontz Bluetooth speaker 🔊 . I’m not sure if the sound quality is as good as the other one I had but it’s good and loud which is important with woods and road noise when camping. The power connector is smartly placed and when it’s plugged in it stays on constantly and I fast to automatically pair. Obviously I can’t play it loud at home but I should be able to give it a good test in the wilderness this weekend.
Tonight will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy 🌧, with a low of 58 degrees at 4am. Four degrees above normal, which is similar to a typical night around June 16th.
