The dew point is 51 degrees. The skies will clear around 1 pm. Not a real nice morning weather wise, but it’s expected to get better as the day progresses.
The plan is after work today to head up to the Green Mountains. ⛰ I expect a fairly quiet day today, so hopefully I’ll either be able to leave early or right about the normal time. 🏕 I do need to stop and get milk 🐄 as I drank the last milk for breakfast with my cereal, but things went well packing this morning, and I don’t think I’ll need much more in supplies. I checked the oil and windshield washer fluid, only the later needed a little bit of topping off. The coolant reservoir has been slightly below the cold line for a while — I’ve not added any in the past 80,000 miles — and while I have a bottle at home, I probably should pick up some fresh in the future. I gassed up the truck this morning.⛽

I decided to move forward on adding the extra accessory battery to my truck, ordering some more wire, lugs, and fuse holder.🔋 I wasn’t sure if I needed all that hardware, but I figured it wasn’t that expensive and there are always future projects I could use it on. I am going to get the battery case and battery at Walmart next week, and should have it working by the weekend. This will double my accessory battery reserve, and hopefully get me to the point where I have ample power for camping.
