Maybe it will get it out of the system come the weekend,☔ or so I tell myself. 🚍 Bussing it to work early so I can walk 🚶 the Concourse for an hour before catching the shuttle 🚀 the rest of the way to work. I think it’s raining a bit too much to ride in or even walk from the Plaza to my office 🏢 in Menands.

The irony of it is todiay would be the last day I could ride to work 🚲 as tomorrow I have the Pine Bush Hike that I’m leading 🦋 and Friday is the getaway day so I’m driving 🚘 in to leave for camp ⛺ from work. The forecast for the weekend isn’t vtt great but I’m hoping for not a washout on Saturday and that Sunday will be nice for the Catskill Scenic Trail. ☀ I mean NOAA says partially sunny, so I’m hopeful. How bad can it be?

I would use my get out of jail free pass 🛂 to leave early Friday but I think I’ll redeem it next week if possible for the Memorial Day Weekend 🇺🇸 as I’d rather use it to get to the Green Mountain National Forest early for the holiday weekend so I can swat the black flies 🐜 and get a good campsite ⛺ early. We’ll see, it depends if there is supervisors to cover here while I’m gone and ultimately I have to get approval from my boss too.

It seems like more and more of the Empire State Plaza is vacant. 🏢 I wonder if it’s the homeless or more likely inflation and OGS hiking rent on the commercial and not for profit tenants. Much like the logic of the overseas, mostly Chinese landlords who bought up Lark Street, I’m sure the state hiked the rent to the point they drove out the tenants. Because that makes a lot of sense. Like the vacant apartment next door 🚪 since my landlord hiked the rent.

I went down to Five Rivers last night, 🐦 did a bunch of reading before riding home. Got  the bicycle speedometer and odometer working correctly by pushing the wheel sensor closer to the magnet. I also added an old speaker magnet 🧲 to the wheel in hope that it will pick up the signal beter.

My phone 📱 touch screen is only becoming more and more marginal, but I will probably wait until next week to replace it. That said irs super obnoxious when it starts typing gibberish when I’m just trying to open an application. I’ve gotten nearly three years out of this phone so I can’t complain too much.
