Good morning! Happy Thursday. Mostly sunny and 52 degrees in North Syracuse. Beautiful blue skies with a calm wind. The dew point is 44 degrees. Today is going to be a nice one with some big blue skies above, followed by a clear and crisp night. While yesterday, I hit some strong winds heading out west, today I’m not expecting much in the way of breeze or wind.

Today will be sunny, with a high of 70 degrees at 3pm. Maximum dew point of 46 at 5pm. Clear and very dry. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon. Waxing Gibbous Moon tonight with 96% illuminated. The moon will rise around 5:43 pm and set around 7:42 am. The Full “Corn” Moon is on Friday at 7:05 pm with partly cloudy skies expected.

Good evening! Clear and 66 degrees in New Paltz, NY. There is a south breeze at 5 mph. The dew point is 62 degrees. Not a half bad evening for driving back to Albany after the long weekend in the city. Ready for a good night’s sleep. 

Tonight will have patchy fog after 2am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low of 61 degrees at 5am. Nine degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 62 at 10pm. South wind around 5 mph. The record low of 32 occurred back in 1963. Waxing Gibbous Moon tonight with 83% illuminated. The moon will set around 5:57 am. The Full “Corn” Moon is on Friday at 7:05 pm with partly cloudy skies expected.

Tomorrow will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a high of 84 degrees at 3pm. 11 degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 62 at 8am. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. The record high of 93 was set in 1931. The sun will rise at 6:35 am with the first light at 6:07 am, which is 1 minutes and 1 seconds later then yesterday.
